Background

After spending our free time designing and building our own vans, we fell in love with the whole process and decided to continue this as a hobby. During this time, we received endless comments and interest about the van conversions, along with requests to build other peoples vans and offers to buy the vans that we had built. With the increased demand for building vans as a weekend hobby, eventually North Devon Campervans was born!.

About Us

North Devon Campervans has grown out of practical skills and a passion for design. We put in the hard work so you can get on the road to enjoy the great outdoors. We deliver anything from a day van for a trip to the beach, to a van lifer's dream to travel the world without the need for a campsite. As a team we can also help you build your own dream van, we can offer guidance and advice on the satisfying challenge of converting your own van, whilst supplying you with everything you need to take on the task yourself.

We pride ourselves on using high-quality products and materials to guarantee a durable and robust build. We offer full conversions and are firm believers in quality over quantity. At North Devon Campervans we dedicate the time that is needed to complete each individual and unique conversion to the highest of standards.

We appreciate vans can be very expensive, so we work with our clients throughout the process to discuss and advise on costing. We aim to put together the best possible packages to ensure you’re getting the best out of your money.

To Date

The business is now growing with many happy and returning customers. Focusing on Volkswagen crafters / Man TGE. We now have endless amounts of hours and design work put into these vans. North Devon Campervans are now developing some new and exciting products that will be new to hit the market. Please check out our Shop for some of the products we already have in production.

The Team

We are a family team of three who work together extremely well and all have our own area of expertise. We work extremely hard to provide attention to detail and diligence in our tasks.

Pete has over 40 years experience in Gas and electrics. Completing his time as an electrician, then moving onto be a gas engineer. Pete has a wealth of knowledge surrounding this area and will be head of the design of all electrical, plumbing and gas systems in the van.

Adam has 15 years’ experience of working in different trades. originally qualifying as an electrician, developing into cabinetry building and then design. During the conversion process, Adam will lead the design element of the build.

Sue is in charge of customer enquiries, sales and also completing the administration and organisation side of the business, therefore allowing the workshop builds to move along swiftly.
