Background
What started as a passion in our spare time soon turned into something much bigger. Designing and building our own campervans quickly became more than just a project — we completely fell in love with the process. The creativity, the craftsmanship, the problem-solving… we were hooked.
As we travelled and shared our builds, the feedback was incredible. We received constant interest, plenty of questions, and more than a few offers to buy the vans we’d poured our time into. Before long, people were asking if we could build one for them too.
What began as a weekend hobby steadily grew through word of mouth, recommendations, and a growing demand for high-quality, thoughtfully designed conversions. The passion was there, the skills were there — and the opportunity was clear.
And that’s how North Devon Campervans was born.
Today, that same enthusiasm and hands-on approach still drives everything we do — only now it’s backed by experience, refined design, and an uncompromising commitment to quality.

The Team
We’re a close-knit family team of three, each bringing our own specialist skills to the workshop — and together, we make a pretty great combination. What unites us is a shared work ethic, a sharp eye for detail, and genuine pride in doing every job properly.Pete brings over 40 years of experience in gas and electrics. After qualifying and completing his time as an electrician, he went on to become a gas engineer, building a wealth of knowledge that’s second to none. Pete leads the design and installation of all electrical, plumbing, and gas systems in our vans — ensuring every setup is safe, efficient, calculated, and built to last.
Adam has spent the past 15 years working across multiple trades. Originally qualifying as an electrician, he went on to develop his skills in cabinetry and design. Adam now heads up the creative side of our builds, leading the layout, cabinetry, and overall design process to ensure each van looks as good as it performs.
Sue is the organisational powerhouse behind the scenes. She manages customer enquiries, sales, and all the administration that keeps the business running smoothly — allowing the workshop team to focus fully on delivering exceptional builds.
Together, we combine experience, creativity, and organisation to deliver conversions finished to the highest standard.
